City lights
Walking the streets
Looking up
Seeing nothing

Very beautiful, nice use of imagery. I often do something similar, look up at the sky and get disheartened when all you can see is the harsh glare of the street lamps. I wonder which city you were imagining when you wrote this? Little Cali has a lot of lights for such a small town.
ReplyDeleteLil Cal is indeed the city I was thinking of. Because back home I live well out into the country and there are no lights to glare out the night sky.
